ScienceDirect enhanced with NextBio
Elsevier and ScienceDirect entered into a partnership with NextBio enabling life sciences, health sciences and chemistry researchers to simultaneously search and dive deeply into ScienceDirect content alongside publicly available sources improving scientific discoverability and research productivity.
The way it works...
When you perform a search in ScienceDirect, the search terms and keywords from the selected article or book chapter (published from 1995 and excluding Major Reference Works) are matched against NextBio’s biomedical ontologies. You then will find terms from the article in the NextBio application box.
By clicking within the NextBio box, you can further explore related terms and topics in publicly available sources collected and compiled by NextBio, along with additional ScienceDirect resources.
