The Hyperlinked Library, Part 1

Abstract

The Hyperlinked Library - Part 1
Linking resources from ScienceDirect

Link resources on ScienceDirect directly into your library pages or AJAX Desktop in 5 simple steps.

The power of the internet is in its linking abilities and the hyperlinked library is the future. The Hyperlinked library is transparent, interactive and innovative, a library which fosters networking and collaboration. Today, it is possible to link journal’s issues, articles and results from search alerts directly into your library web pages or create dynamic portals that carry specific information targeted at different audiences. AJAX desktops are free software tools that enable information organizations, linking and sharing using dynamic pages.
